In 2024, HFHCC relaunched with a Blitz Build. Utilizing mostly contractors and business connections, we were able to build a home in just over 5 weeks. In 2025, we built our next house together as a community!
Part of our mission is to build community. What better way than to call on the various segments of our community to rally together to accomplish this next home build. This next build will be completed by the spring of 2026.
Financially, here’s how it will work. Our goal is to raise a total of $100,000 to cover the expense of supplies and necessary labor for this build. Cass County Community Foundation has agreed to be the Lead Sponsor for this campaign and will contribute $25,000. We are asking various segments of our community to contribute the remaining $75,000. We are asking churches, organizations, businesses, financial institutions, and individuals to contribute a combined total of $15,000 for each segment. In addition, the State of Indiana has granted Habitat for Humanity of Indiana (HFHI) the ability to issue Affordable Homeownership Tax Credits. This means that you can receive a 50% credit (up to $10,000) towards your state taxes when you make a donation to Habitat for Humanity of Cass County via HFHI. This can be money, land, stocks, or in-kind donations (labor costs are not eligible).

          Habitat for Humanity of Cass County (HFHCC) exists to build homes, community, and hope here in Cass County, IN. The need for affordable housing is great in our community, so HFHCC wants to be part of the solution.
